LumiRestore helps you enhance, colorize, and edit photos using AI. Version 1.1 adds background replacement, object erasing, and ID/passport photo creation. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

We do not require account registration. We do not sell personal data.
Photos are sent to our server only when you tap an action that requires AI processing (restore, colorize, replace background, erase objects, or create an ID photo). They are transmitted over HTTPS, processed by AI models, and returned to your device. We do not use your photos to train models or for advertising.
For background replacement and ID photos, only the cut-out subject (the person or object without its original background) is processed and returned; backgrounds you choose are applied locally on your device. For object erasing, a brush mask you draw on screen is sent with the photo so the AI knows which region to remove.
On your device, LumiRestore may keep a limited local history of edited images (stored in the app’s private Documents folder) so you can reopen recent results. You can delete history items in the app. Uninstalling the app removes this local data.
LumiRestore does not use Face ID, TrueDepth, or any biometric face template. The only face-related data we process is the visual content of photos you voluntarily select.
Collection: Face imagery is collected only as part of a user-selected photo when you choose Restore, Colorize, Replace Background, or Create ID Photo. We do not build a face identity profile.
On-device face geometry (ID photos): To guide you inside official ID-photo framing rules (head size, eye-line height, head tilt), Apple’s Vision framework runs on your device to measure face position and eye position. These measurements are used transiently in memory and are never uploaded, stored, or shared. For regulatory compliance reasons, ID photos generated by the app are not retouched or beautified.
Use: Face imagery in the photo is used solely to process the photo you requested (AI face enhancement as part of restoration, subject cutout for background replacement or ID photos). It is not used for identification, authentication, advertising, analytics profiling, or model training by us.
Sharing & storage: For processing, the photo (which may contain faces) is sent over HTTPS to our Supabase Edge Function and then to Replicate’s AI models. LumiRestore does not permanently store your photos or face imagery on our servers. Processed results are returned to your device. Replicate may temporarily process images under its own privacy policy. We do not sell face data or share it with other third parties for their own purposes.
Retention & deletion: Server-side processing is transient per request; we do not keep a permanent server gallery of your photos. On device, edited images may remain in local History until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app. For deletion requests related to usage records, contact novel2018@126.com.
The App is not directed at children under 13.
